Next week, Apple is set to take the wrappers off what’s predicted to be the most expensive iPhone ever – iPhone 8.

But while the 10th anniversary phone has been predicted to cost more than $1,000 (and possibly over £1,000 for some of the higher memory options), that’s just not enough for some customers.

Enter the gold iPhone 8 – which is available for pre-order now.

London and Dubai-based retailer Goldgenie is ready for pre-orders already – and offers devices plated with 24K gold, rose gold and platinum.

If that’s not quite opulent enough for you, you can add diamonds.

The company also offers a service where it removes the entire casing and replaces that with 16K gold, according to Mashable.

So how much will it set you back? GoldGenie isn’t naming prices yet – but last year, a gold-plated iPhone 7 would set you back roughly £2,500.
