Car smashes into North London dentist clinic leaving large hole in building
A dental clinic was left with a gaping hole in its wall after a car smashed into it late last night (May 21). N13 Dental Clinic, which sits on the corner of Bowes Road and Powys Lane by Arnos Grove was left with a gaping hole inside it after a white 4x4 ploughed into it at around 11pm.
Despite having smashed into side of the building, there were no serious injuries. Photos shared of the incident show the car with its boot open and hazard lights flickering, surrounded by the emergency services.
A London Ambulance Service (LAS) spokesperson said: “We were called at 11.59pm on Tuesday May 21 to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Bowes Road and Powys Lane in Southgate. We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a response car and an incident response officer.

“The first of our crews arrived at the scene in three minutes. A woman was treated at the scene before being discharged.”
A Met Police spokesperson said: “It occurred at 11.52pm last night. No serious injuries.”
A London Fire Brigade (LFB) spokesperson said: "Crews made the scene safe following a road traffic collision on Bowes Road in Southgate. The Brigade was called at 11.56pm and the incident was over for firefighters at seven minutes after midnight.”
