According to The Sun, Cara had a ‘meltdown’ when she travelled from Paris to London for her sister Poppy’s birthday on May 5.

The incident, in which onlookers claim Cara acted like a ‘spoiled brat’, allegedly happened when her luggage was chosen at random for a security check at Gare du Nord, where she was apparently set to board a train at 3.50pm.

It’s said that the model-turned-actress ‘swore profusely at the first officer’ and shouted ‘f**k you’ as another came to try and calm things down, before Cara was taken to a private room.

Onlookers allege that she returned around an hour later and that she looked like she’d been crying. Cara reportedly ‘apologised profusely’ to officers and was allowed to board the next train, having been given a fine for verbal assault.

An onlooker told the paper: “It was a full-on meltdown in the middle of security. There were at least 20 people around and she didn’t seem to care who saw. It was like she thought she didn’t have to abide by the same rules as everyone else just because she’s famous.

“Cara was with a friend who was trying to calm her down, but it wasn’t working. She shouted ‘let him do his f**king job, it’s ridiculous’. She got down on her knees and put her hands together as if she was praying for the whole thing to be over. It was bizarre.”

They added: “Most people accept that random security checks are important and help keep everyone safe, but apparently not Cara.

“She seemed to think she was immune to it.”
