Despite sound delays that knocked off Cardi’s rhythm for a second, she powered through the joint mini-set like a pro. Megan even checked in with opening act GloRilla and the audience to make sure the Bronx native could be heard clearly.

The fun didn’t stop as Cardi then ripped into her fan-favorite verse from GloRilla’s “Tomorrow 2,” which prompted the Memphis rhymer to return to the stage and create a trifecta moment between the three emcees. The “F.N.F.” rapper and Megan went on to perform their new collab track “Wanna Be,” to fans’ delight, which set the stage for some exciting news.

“Aye, y’all, we got a special motherf---ing announcement. I need y’all to stay tuned,” said GloRilla, per a fan video. “Make sure y’all tune in tonight 'cause I ain’t telling you right now.”

A stunned Megan then responded, “Now how you gonna tease that then try to walk away?”

After some banter between the two, the Grammy-winning Megan said, “I think you should just tell them,” before GloRilla then asked the crowd, “Y’all wanna hear ‘Wanna Be’ with motherf---ing Cardi B?”

Cheers erupted through the venue as Megan confirmed that a “Wanna Be” remix with the Invasion of Privacy star is “bout to drop, y’all, be ready.” At this time, a release date has not yet been announced.

Megan kicked off her Hot Girl Summer tour on May 14 in Minneapolis. Following her dominating performance at The Garden, the first-time headliner has more scheduled shows in cities like Philadelphia, Boston, Memphis, Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, and Los Angeles in the coming weeks.

Her anticipated tour run concludes on July 27 at the Broccoli City Festival in Washington D.C., where the Traumazine artist will perform along with acts like Gunna, PartyNextDoor, Lil Yachty, Victoria Monét, Kaytranada, and many more.

Meanwhile, Cardi is still gearing up to release her long-awaited sophomore album, with fans anxiously expecting a release date following years of teasing. The “Enough (Miami)” rap star opened up about the forthcoming LP in her new Rolling Stone cover story, where she also revealed that she’s afraid to get too personal in her new music.

"I really want to talk about the life changes that I’ve been dealing with the past six, seven years," said Cardi. "But then it’s just like, I feel like people don’t deserve to know because people use my pain against me.”

Despite a since-deleted X post where she declared “NO album this year” following an online fan spat, Atlantic Records confirmed fans can still expect a new album from the Grammy winner in 2024. And with another collab with GloRilla — who just dropped her Ehhthang Ehhthang album on April 5 — on the way, listeners have much to look forward to.
