Carl Frampton joins Seaview legend to launch new Crusaders kits

Carl Frampton has teamed up with Crusaders legend Kirk Hunter to launch the club's new kits for next season.

The brand new jersey is set to debut at the upcoming testimonial game for former manager Stephen Baxter who stepped down at the end of last season.

Former two-weight boxing champion and Crusaders die-hard Frampton and ex-midfielder Hunter joined current players Robbie Weir, Jarlath O’Rourke and summer signing Jordan Stewart to try out the new shirts for size.

Frampton says on the video: "My first memory of coming down to the Crues was probably, I'm guessing, seven or eight, something like that, asking aul lads 'will you lift me over?'.

The new kit is a flashback to the iconic Adidas Originals kit worn by former football hard-man Hunter in the 1980s. A new all black away jersey has also been revealed for the 2024/25 season, which the club says "introduces a fresh take on the classic pinstriped design, a beloved pattern that has appeared in various home kits over the years".
