Carlos Corberan has given his opinion to West Bromwich Albion as they consider how to approach the end of season decisions awaiting them - namely regarding those players whose contracts are due to expire. As things stand, Albion will bid farewell to a host of senior players and burgeoning academy graduates, as well as say goodbye to three players who are currently on loan.

Much will, depend, of course, on the division in which Albion are competing in next term - both in terms of deciding which players to retain and also as regards to the budget they'll have to work with, as clubs bear in mind the ever tightening financial regulations in place.

Among the most pressing subjects are the futures of Cedric Kipre and Alex Mowatt; both have been transformed by Corberan and weekly play significant roles in the starting XI. Aside from that pair, you have the likes of Matt Phillips, Kyle Bartley, Adam Reach, Erik Pieters and Nathaniel Chalobah among the list of stars with deals about to expire.

Time is off the essence. While Albion still must focus on the goings on on the pitch, with two matches left to play and, all being well, a play-off campaign to participate in, they're spinning plates off the field and soon will come the time when calls must be made - either way. One thing Corberan has been left in no doubt about, however, is the commitment of all concerned despite the lingering uncertainty for many.

"I have been talking with the club about this, because you can always find a gap, a time, to talk about your feelings," Corberan confirmed. "It's true that I have listened many times people saying 'how can you compete like that with that many people finishing the contract?' or whatever. I value a lot in this group of players, that they commit 1,000 per cent. The ones on loan, the ones who have a contract next year and the ones who finish this year.

"With all of them, I don't feel any difference. I don't feel a difference in any of them. It makes me be calm, this way. All of them have been very clear that they want to give the best for the club this year, and let's see what happens after.

"I am coaching a group of players that the level of their commitment with this season in our club is exceptional, exceptional. So there are thoughts, and it's good to have thoughts and share thoughts with the club, it's always positive to have our thoughts in common."
