Carol McGiffin Debuts Her New Look Following Cancer Battle

Carol McGiffin has shown off her new look just months after announcing that she has beaten breast cancer, and we reckon she looks absolutely amazing.

Smiling proudly on the cover of Bella magazine, Carol has admitted that she’s resorted to botox and fillers in a bid to stop feeling like “an old tramp” after her grueling cancer treatment.

The Loose Women star explained: “I’ve had this done because I still really want to have a facelift, but I’ll do anything I can to avoid it. I think it’s insane to volunteer for surgery - proper cutting-up-your-face surgery.

"I just want to try and look my best. I don’t make enough effort. I look like an old tramp.

"I’ve had two sessions now and I think I’ll just have it done little and often. Once you start, you’ve got to keep it up. It’s addictive. I keep thinking, ‘I could just have a little bit more there, a little bit more there, a little bit more there.’

"I’ve got to be careful not to go too far. I won’t go too far.”

The 56-year-old also revealed that she is planning to undergo reconstructive surgery after having a mastectomy following her 2014 diagnosis, adding: “I wasn’t going to but it’s odd, when I had the mastectomy [in 2014], it didn’t bother me at all.

"The longer I have to look at it, the more it bothers me. I thought: 'What shall I have done? Boobs or face?’ And I’ve decided to have my breast done.

"So I’ve got to find an alternative [to surgery] to fix my face up.”

Despite looking bloomin’ gorgeous, Carol admitted that she is struggling with her new short hairdo, sharing: “I’m getting a bit bored of it short. I get stuck in a bit of a hair rut.
