Carol Vorderman wows fans by stripping down to a bikini to do some DIY

Carol Vorderman has dazzled her fans by stripping down to her bikini for some DIY.

The Countdown star, 60, told fans on Instagram that she would be spending the sizzling hot day trying to build a box for her paddleboard equipment.

She then shared a picture of herself wearing a pair of shorts and a skimpy brown bikini top.

“Ready for action,” she captioned the saucy shot, adding the hashtags “#screwdriver”, “#bikinibuilder” and “#bloominhothere”.

Once she had completed the main structure, Vorderman updated fans to say that she was getting to work on the inside.

“Peepo,” she captioned a shot of her lifting the lid off the box.

The TV star’s admirers were more than a little appreciative of Vorderman’s messages.

“Brightened my day CV,” tweeted one fan, while another said she looked “fabulous”.

“Looking so beautiful Carol as ever,” gushed another fan, while plenty of people declared that the presenter was “stunning”.

Vorderman has often posted pictures of herself in tight-fitting exercise clothes, encouraging fans to dress in whatever they like and feel comfortable in.

And the star - who won Rear of the Year twice, in 2011 and 2014 – has amassed a huge fan base on Instagram, where she has 113,000 followers.

She previously shared a snap of herself in swimwear in April, wearing a Welsh flag bikini to show her delight when she was able to pay the Welsh coast a visit.

The maths whizz was born in Bedford but was brought up in north Wales by her mother.
