Cars Plow Through Inches of Floodwater as Persistent Rain Falls on South Florida

Heavy rain came down on parts of southeastern Florida on Wednesday, June 12, falling at rates up to 6 inches an hour, the National Weather Service (NWS) warned.

Up to 3 inches of rain had already fallen in southern Broward and northern Miami-Dade counties as of 1:07 pm on Wednesday, the weather service said.
