Cassie spotted 'with bruises' days after alleged assault by Sean 'Diddy' Combs in 2016 video

Cassie Ventura was spotted at an event with visible bruises and marks on her body, mere days after alleged footage from 2016 surfaced that shows she was apparently physically assaulted by Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs.

In November 2023, Cassie brought forward accusations against the famed rapper, however, the pair swiftly settled the lawsuit outside of the courtroom.

Court documents that The Mirror managed to get hold of revealed her claims that "he raped her and perpetually abused her for years."

Now, last night, surveillance footage from the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles, obtained by CNN, appears to show Diddy and Cassie in a physical altercation that matches events described in her lawsuit.

The footage seemingly captures Cassie heading towards the hotel lifts in the corridor.

It then appears as if Diddy charges after her, seizes her by the neck, and flings her to the floor while himself draped in nothing but a towel around his waist.

The footage further depicts Diddy delivering two kicks to Cassie, retrieving luggage left by the lift, and then dragging her towards a room using her sweatshirt as a handle.

Once Cassie gets back on her feet, the shocking footage viewed from a mirror position shows Diddy aggressively pushing her.

In a staggering turn, he's seen sitting in an armchair clad in just his waist towel before hurling an object at Cassie.

Just two days following the alleged assault, the then-couple made a public appearance together on the red carpet at a film premiere.

Cassie dazzled in a shimmering green dress, while Diddy was decked out in a classic suit.

Despite the recent altercation, they were photographed hand in hand, with visible marks and bruises on Cassie's body.

Photographs from the event show three distinct bruises on Cassie's legs and what seems to be a significant bump on her left shoulder.

In a lawsuit filed against the rapper last November, Cassie described an incident where an "extremely intoxicated" Diddy "punched her in the face, giving her a black eye".

These revelations follow comments from Cassie's lawyer, Douglas H. Wigdor, who spoke to The Mirror after previously unseen footage was released by CNN.

He stated: "The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs."

He added: "Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light."
