Casualty spoilers follow.

Jacob is then left further wound up when Max politely informs him that he and Connie will be presenting a report on the issues within the department at the end of the day.
Furious to discover that Connie has cancelled the nurses' training in favour of the doctors, Jacob makes his feelings known but is warned by his ex to keep his opinions to himself.
Connie strongly encourages Jacob to stay silent during the impending board meeting, but it's clear that he has other ideas.
With things growing increasingly tense between he and Connie, Jacob finds himself unable to stay quiet when the issues crops up during the meeting.
Ignoring Connie's earlier instructions, Jacob throws her under the bus and reveals that she is planning on giving the exact same privileges to both nurses and doctors. Backed into a corner, Connie is forced to admit this is true.
Connie is left horrified by Jacob's betrayal but it's not long before anger leads to passion...
