Casualty has revealed the aftermath of Robyn Miller's tragic accident ahead of her exit.

Posting a dramatic clip to Instagram ahead of Saturday's (March 18) episode, the soap teased fans with what's to come in what looks set to be an emotional episode.

In the clip we see Robyn laying on the ground in a stretcher as her eyes close, the nurse is then rushed into the ED by her friends and colleagues.

At the end of the short clip, her boss Jacob looks on in horror, which, after the events of Saturday's cliffhanger episode, is hardly surprising.

In last week's episode, Robyn's happily ever after came crashing down when she was involved in a tragic accident following her last ever shift in the ED having worked there for a decade.

During the episode tensions rose between Robyn and her boss Jacob, when he asked her to stay late on her last day at work.

After learning there had been a major incident at a fairground Robyn agreed to help out, and when she eventually left to attend her own leaving party, Jacob interrupted, tearing all of the other nurses away to work.

When Robyn finally stood up to her boss following their ongoing problems, she left the ED after a miserable send off.

Not long after this, paramedics learnt of a nearby road accident but with no ambulances available due to the ongoing issues in the ED, no help was immediately sent. Unfortunately, in the closing moments of the episodes we learnt the nearby accident had actually involved Robyn who is now fighting for her life.

But will the nurse survive the accident and realise her plans to move to Wigan with her partner Paul and daughter Charlotte?

Casualty airs on Saturdays on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer.
