Cat Deeley said she and Ben Shephard were in 'big trouble' after the latter expressed fears they'd left This Morning 'bankrupt'. Regular viewers of the ITV daytime show may be aware that they recently introduced a new game following the axe of Spin To Win.

At the end of last month, the show's hosts revealed their new game, Coin Drop, in which viewers taking part could win up to a massive £20,000, more than four times the amount available from the previous wheel-based game.

During This Morning on Thursday (July 4), Coin Drop was back and Cat and Ben spoke to a viewer named David who was trying his luck at winning the huge sum.

But the presenters ended up in a minor disagreement when Ben pointed out a machine malfunction when the coin Cat was asked to drop stopped moving. "So we have a little incident here, this occasionally happens on a show that I do", the presenter said, in reference to his popular programme Tipping Point, which he hosts.

"You never see it, of course, because we can edit it. This is live so I'm going to take this out and drop it again," Ben added. Minutes later, however, the coin was stuck again, leaving him to remark: "It's your first time this week and you've already broken the board. Just pointing that out."

Caller David let out a short chuckle while Cat remained silent for a few seconds as she stood over the Coin Drop board with a blank expression. She then warned Ben off, saying: "I can break other things too, you know," before eventually cracking on with the game and winning David the full jackpot.

Ben cheered as Cat slapped her hand across her mouth before she exclaimed: "We're bankrupt! We're really bankrupt!" as David learned he had won the grand prize, which comes after other This Morning viewers also managed to earn their own five-figure prizes earlier this week.

Ben congratulated David and the trio chatted about how he'll be spending the money. Cat went on to confirm the game would be back on July 15 but Ben commented: "That's if we've got enough money to bring it back!" as he reeling off the cash prizes he's given away so far.

They then threw to ITV's competition, where £250,000 could be won by one lucky entrant, and returning back to the studio afterwards, Cat joked: "We're in big trouble! £20,000 again."
