CCTV images have been released of two men after a serious assault on-board a train from Glasgow.

British Transport Police were called to the incident at 7.30pm on Saturday, May 18 after a person was attacked on the service from Glasgow Central to Largs Railway Station in Ayrshire. Officers investigating the violent incident believe the two males pictured in the images may be able to assist them with their inquiries.

The first male is described as being between 18 to 20-years-old, of a slim build and with short light-coloured hair that is shaved at the sides. At the time of the attack, he was wearing a pink t-shirt, light-coloured trousers carrying light coloured satchel and wearing grey Nike trainers.

The second male is described as also being between 18 and 20-years-old. He is of a slim build and with short brown hair.

He was wearing a grey t-shirt with a white Nike logo and dark stripes around the sleeves. He was also described as wearing a chain over his t-shirt as well as dark trousers.
