CCTV is released as Kent pub worker is 'seriously assaulted'

Kent Police are investigating reports of a serious assault in a Tunbridge Wells pub and have released a CCTV image of a person they want to speak to. The alleged attack happened at the Rose and Crown in Grosvenor Road, at around 10.20pm on Saturday, April 27.

It is reported a man who had been asked to leave the premises following an incident, punched a member of staff causing serious facial injuries. Investigating officer, PC Chris Leary, said: ‘This unprovoked and violent assault left a victim requiring ongoing hospital treatment.

"We are now releasing an image of a man who may be able to assist with our enquiries and are asking anyone who recognises him to contact our appeal line."
