Former Liverpool and England player Michael Owen is regularly seen at the Grand National. While he is known for his footballing career, the 44-year-old has also had a lot of success with training horses.

The former striker owns several horses and has experience with training horses at his own stables, Manor House Stables in Cheshire. In 2011 his horse Brown Panther won the King George V Stakes Race at Ascot.

He has arrived at Aintree today wearing a herringbone plaid suit with brown brogues and a gold tie.

Celebrity Big Brother housemate Lauren Simon has arrived at Aintree with her Real Housewives of Cheshire co-star Seema Malhotra. Lauren hails from not far away, in Cheshire, and has turned up at the racecourse looking fantastic.

Meanwhile Seema is a fashion expert, with her own brand Forever Unique, so it was to be expected that she would look just as fabulous. They also seem to have planned matching outfits, which are very similar in style and colour.

Lauren is wearing a red bandeau midi gown with black shoes and a black fascinator, while Seema wears an off-the-shoulder red dress, with a red and black headpiece and an oversized black clutch.
