'Celebrity Bake Off': Ellie Goulding and Laura Whitmore in line-up as Matt Lucas stands in for missing contestant
Celebrity Bake Off has revealed its 2022 line-up includes Ellie Goulding, Laura Whitmore and Sir Mo Farah - as well as host Matt Lucas turning contestant as he fills in for one missing baker.
The hit series The Great British Bake Off runs its annual celebrity spin-off as part of Channel 4 fundraising campaign Stand Up To Cancer and always attracts some big names to the tent.

But this year, one celebrity was forced to miss their episode at the last minute, leaving presenter and comedian Lucas to cross the kitchen bench and don an apron as a replacement.
He said: “I was forced to bake by my bosses at the last minute when one of the bakers became unavailable.
“I can’t tell you how happy I was that my humiliation was caught on camera.”
Lucas joined the series as co-host with Noel Fielding in 2020 after Sandi Toksvig's departure, but this is the first time he has taken part as a contestant.
Celebrities taking part in the new series will include Olympic athlete Sir Mo Farah, singer Ellie Goulding and Strictly Come Dancing judge Motsi Mabuse.
They will be joined by Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore, TV star Ruby Wax, actor Ben Miller and choirmaster Gareth Malone, who will also be hoping to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.

Other famous bakers to enter the tent will be comedian and creator of Taskmaster Alex Horne, TV presenter Emma Willis, singer-songwriter Example and radio DJ Annie Mac, as well as The Inbetweeners star Blake Harrison, and TV and radio presenter Clara Amfo.
The line-up is completed by ex-Coronation Street actor Katherine Kelly, comedian Ed Gamble, writer and comedian Mawaan Rizwan, TV presenter Sophie Morgan, Friday Night Dinner’s Tracy-Ann Oberman and musician Yung Filly.
Last year's series saw stars including Nadine Coyle, Jade Thirlwall and Reece Shearsmith take part in the charity competition which raises awareness and money for Cancer Research UK.
Stand Up To Cancer, launched in 2012, is a joint national fundraising campaign from Cancer Research UK and Channel 4.
Celebrity Bake Off is due to air on Channel 4 in the spring.
