Celebrity Big Brother: Fifth Harmony respond after Sarah Harding 'slutty' comments

Fifth Harmony have responded after former Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding called them "slutty" during an episode of Celebrity Big Brother.

Harding drew the ire of Fifth Harmony's fans after criticising them for their outfits and for their dance routines.

Speaking to Chad Johnson the 35-year-old said: "They all wear next to nothing - all the girl bands do these days. Slutty, slutty, slutty. Sex sells, sex sells."

Comparing them to Girls Aloud she added: "Obviously, when we were touring we didn't wear much because it was so hot, but it's when they do the videos it's all, like, slut drops and twerking.

"We used to have to do proper dance routines. They just do slut drops now."

Shortly after, Harding's former bandmate Nicola Roberts appeared to make a dig at the comments.

She posted a photo of a friend wearing a cap which said "Women in music are dangerously underestimated" and included the caption: "And that's why we have to support each other."

Fifth Harmony have now responded themselves in an interview with The Sun.

Dinah Jane said she enjoys wearing the outfits she chooses onstage and said no one had ever told the group what they should wear.

"I honestly speak for myself," she said. "I go out there wearing shorts that I feel comfortable in, maybe because my thighs are my favourite thing about me so I can show them off.

"That's like my favourite part of my body so I'm definitely going to go out there and show some legs because they're fine as hell."

She added: "I don't know who she [Harding] is. If she wants lessons or something - people always wnt to learn how to booty pop like Fifth Harmony. But shout out to her'; keep doing you girl."
