Celebrity Big Brother viewers disturbed by Fern giving Louis massage
Fern Britton gave Louis Walsh a head massage and viewers were reminded of George Galloway's and Rula Lenska in the Big Brother house.
What did you miss?
Celebrity Big Brother viewers were given the "ick" when Fern Britton was shown giving Louis Walsh a massage.
The former This Morning presenter gave the X Factor judge a head massage in the garden and the pair exchanged some jokey innuendo after 71-year-old Walsh asked for a "happy ending". Viewers found the scenes uncomfortable to watch and were reminded of MP George Galloway's infamous Big Brother moment with Coronation Street actor Rula Lenska.
What, how, and why?
The housemates were all having a pamper session in the garden and giving one another massages. Britton gave Walsh a head massage. The Irish music manager said: "Can we have a happy ending?" Britton, 66, seemed not to have heard or understood and asked: "What?!" Walsh then told her: "I have cash."
Britton told him: "I've got some specials on offer. I can't tell you about them until I see the money."
The scenes did not go down well with viewers, with many sharing that it had given them the "ick".
One wrote on social media platform X: "Why didn't ITV/STV say there were scenes that some viewers might find distressing before this episode started? #BBUK #CBB #CBBUK #BigBrother #CelebrityBigBrother"

Some compared it to George Galloway and Rula Lenska's time in the house in 2006.
The Workers Party of Britain MP appeared in the fourth series of Celebrity Big Brother alongside Michael Barrymore, Dennis Rodman, Pete Burns, Jodie Marsh and Rula Lenska. The series was won by Chantelle Houghton, an unknown contestant was sent into the house pretending to be a celebrity to trick the other housemates.
Galloway was challenged by a producer to mimic a pet, prompting him to get down on all fours to act like a cat. In the famous clip, he is seen asking, “Would you like me to be the cat?”, as he kneels before fellow contestant and Coronation Street star Lenska, purring and pretending to lick milk from her cupped hands.
One viewer tweeted about Walsh and Britton: "Fern giving Louis Walsh a head massage whilst he asks for a happy ending is on the same level as Rula and George’s cat roleplay."
Another said: "Did Louis just have a George Galloway moment?? #CelebrityBigBrother"
What else happened on Celebrity Big Brother?
The celebrities all received a surprise visit from a friend or family member in the garden. Viewers were all hoping Britton would be reunited with her former This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield.
One said: "Imagine if @Fern_Britton opened her eyes and they sent in Philip Schofield to launch his comeback…"
Another posted: "Please can they get Phillip Schofield for Fern Britton."
And another shared: "I wished that was Phil coming out #CBBUK #CelebrityBigBrother"'
But Britton was visited by one of her daughters.
Celebrity Big Brother airs at 9pm on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player.
