Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins reaches its gruelling final this weekend and the last five famous recruits left in the competition have revealed their toughest moments.
Matt Hancock, Danielle Lloyd, Gareth Gates, Teddy Soares and Perri Shakes-Drayton have all made it to the last round of the Channel 4 reality show based on Special Forces selection, but the most torturous of the challenges are still to come before they find out whether any of them have passed.
Former health secretary Hancock was a controversial signing for the show, and despite having faced public outrage over his actions during the COVID pandemic he has claimed that Celebrity SAS was "one of the most difficult things I've ever done".
He said: "It was really one of the most difficult things I've ever done and a very unpleasant experience.
"The only way through it was to have the same attitude that I had during the whole course, to just keep sticking around for a few more minutes all the way through, even when the interrogators were trying to rile me."

The series finale sees the remaining five recruits from the original group of 16 captured by a "hunter force" in the Vietnamese jungle and subjected to 14 hours of interrogation - which involves taking away their clothes and belongings.
Hancock will be seen being grilled in his pants by one of the show's guest interrogators who hit headlines last year when viewers spotted that she looked very like Liz Truss.
Danielle Lloyd, who spoke earlier in the series about surviving horrendous abuse in a past relationship, agreed: "That was probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Forget about the heights and stuff like that. This was intense.
"The noises just literally f*** your head up. I'd not eaten, I was wet, it was cold. It was just so hard to try and stay awake and try and stay focused."
She added: "I was actually thankful when I got pulled out to be interrogated and my hood would come off my head. I was thinking I'd rather this than still be listening to those noises."
Gareth Gates has revealed that his stutter went through one of its worst phases during his time on Celebrity SAS, and agreed with his co-stars that the final was particularly tough.
He said: "It was definitely the worst experience of my life. I haven't ever felt pain like it. When you are held in those stress positions for hours, it’s torture."
"Also, these noises that they put in your ears, you become extremely anxious," he added. "It isn't just the coupling of the physical pain of the stress positions with the anxiousness. The sounds make you feel awful, it really is unbearable. It was really horrendous."
Love Islander Teddy Soares admitted that he was shocked not to be able to charm the female interrogator on the show.
Soares said: "One of the interrogators, Debs, was just so mean. I don't think I've ever had a lady speak to me like that. I usually have ladies speak to me nicely but she didn't.
"I genuinely thought I was going to be able to charm her but that didn't happen! At that point I was so confused about how I didn't manage to charm her!"
Athlete Perri Shakes-Drayton agreed that the way the recruits were spoken to in the interrogation room was one of the most difficult things.
She said: "One of the interrogators was talking really nasty, treating me like a piece of poo on her shoe. Then we had the noises and even dogs barking in our faces, I wasn’t expecting that."
Viewers will see which celebrities pass selection in Sunday's series finale, with show insiders teasing that the result could be surprising.
