Matt Milam Joins Sony Pictures as VP of Creative Production

Sony Pictures has tapped Matt Milam as vice president of creative production.

Milam comes to Sony from Skydance where he served as vice president of production and before that he was with Warner Bros.

“We are tremendously excited about Matt joining the Columbia team,” said Michael DeLuca, president of production. “We’ve followed his career from Warners to Skydance and have been utterly impressed with both his talent and his taste.”

At Skydance, Milam most recently worked on the Dean Devlin project “Geostorm” and during at this time at WB he worked on projects that included “Clash of the Titans,” “Wrath of the Titans,” “Terminator Salvation” and “The Informant!”

Prior to Warner Bros., Milam acted as creative exec at Mandate Pictures, helping oversee Harold and Kumar 2, Grudge 2 and 30 Days of Night. He received co-producer credit on Boogeyman 2 for which he oversaw the development, production and postproduction.
