Celine Dion has been secretly preparing for her comeback and was said to be 'determined' to get back on stage. The singer, who has been battling Stiff Person Syndrome, wants to dazzle fans once more with a 'short run' of live shows belting out her greatest hits.

The star opened up about her increasingly debilitating neurological condition in the heartrending Amazon Prime documentary, I Am: Celine Dion. The 56-year-old succumbed to seizures during the series, with many fans finding the scenes tough to watch.

However the US Sun reports Celine wants to orchestrate a Greatest Hits resurrection performance in Las Vegas. It's thought she would return with 70-minute shows, having not graced the stage since March 2020.

A source told the publication: "It is hush hush at the moment, but an announcement is imminent. Celine has signed off on singing again to audiences in November. She has worked incredibly hard to get back to a place where she can sing well and for some period of time.

"She believes that she is ready to perform for over an hour. Her desire to return and entertain has been a huge driving force in her health battles. She never gave up and has been working in secret for months on her vocal strength and control."

The Mirror reports that Celine was candid about her health battles in her documentary, admitting it made her feel embarrassed. She said: "Every time this happens it makes you feel so embarrassed. You don't like to not have control of yourself."
