Celtic are reportedly in talks with two unnamed English Premier League sides over selling Matt O’Riley BEFORE Euro 2024.

The playmaker cleaned up at the Hoops Player of the Years awards bash at the Hydro in Glasgow on Sunday night, scooping fans, players’ player and young player of the year. The 23-year-old has scored 16 goals and contributed 17 assists in a sparkling campaign as the Parkhead men close in on making it three-in-a-row. He also played a key role at Celtic Park as they saw off Rangers in the crucial derby showdown on Saturday.

But according to Tipsbladet, there are talks going on for the 23-year-old to move from Brendan Rodgers’ side to English football. It is claimed the clubs are keen to do "possible transfer ahead of this summer's European Championship finals" in Germany with O'Riley in the running for a call-up to the Denmark squad.

In terms of incomings, Celtic will have to replace No. 1 goalkeeper Joe Hart this summer as the former England cap prepares to hang up his gloves. However, it doesn't appear Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir will be that man.

Fotospor claim Galatasaray are the only team now interested in Cakir, who club president Ertugrul Dogan has admitted will leave the club. The report states Celtic have "given up" on the 28-year-old.

RKC Waalwijk goalkeeper Etienne Vaessen has also been linked with a transfer to Celtic Park - and he has teased that he could be on the move this summer. The 28-year-old is out of contract at the Eredivise side and admitted to hoping that the 1-1 draw with Zwolle last weekend was his final home appearance. Asked whether that was the case, the goalkeeper told Dutch magazine: “I hope so, yes.”
