Gogglebox star Tom Malone has been flooded with support as he celebrated a special day.

The armchair critic is renowned for his role commentating on the week's best TV. Tom is joined on the sofa by his wife Julie and their son, Shaun.

However, Tom may be absent from the sofa tonight as he has gone on holiday to celebrate his birthday. Julie shared snaps of the two on their Instagram account as they enjoyed the sun in Benidorm.

She said: "Tom's birthday ! Thanks for all your birthday wishes ! #birthday #tomsbirthday #birthdayinbenidorm #sunshine #sunshineandbeer"

Fellow Gogglebox stars took to the comments to wish Tom well on his special day. Jenny Newby and Lee Riley said: "Have a fabulous day Tom happy birthday. Jenny and Lee."

Izzi Warner commented: "Happy birthday Tom!! Hope you’re having a fab time" Dave and Shirley posted: "Happy birthday Tom have a great day."
