Chaos at Russian steel factory as wayward machinery sprays red-hot molten metal all over the floor (but workers still filmed it)

These spectacular scenes at a Russian steel plant saw malfunctioning machinery spray molten metal all over the factory floor.

Workers at the Amurmetal Plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur were left stunned when out-of-control equipment juddered high in the air along the length of the factory.

As the machine moved across the floor, it sprayed bright orange molten steel in every direction.

Pools of dangerous red-hot liquid metal spilled in front of machinery and across the floor.

Amazingly, rather than flee to safety, workers at the Russian factory put their safety at risk by filming the whole incident.

Fortunately, workers managed to carry out an emergency procedure which meant no was harmed by the wayward molten-metal-spouting machinery.
