Charlie Sheen’s Daughters Didn’t Know He Was HIV+ Until He Went Public

Last November Charlie Sheen sensationally revealed that he was HIV+ in an interview on the Today Show.

Within seconds of his interview airing, Charlie’s announcement had become international news and was the hot topic of every conversation.

Now it has been claimed that the Hollywood actor didn’t tell two of his children, eleven-year-old Sam and ten-year-old Lola, about his diagnosis with their mum Denise Richards not even having a “heads-up” so that she can prepare them.

A source shared: “When the HIV news came out, Charlie never told them. It broke when they were at school and Denise [Richards] didn’t even have a heads-up about it.

“She had to explain that issue much earlier than she anticipated.”

It has also been said that Denise is struggling to find a school for the two girls due to Charlie’s erratic behaviour in the past - with the star attacking their former school, Viewpoint, on his Twitter page.

The insider added to the New York Post’s Page Six column: “They applied to ten schools and weren’t accepted to any of them. The schools were concerned after the situation with Viewpoint.

“They didn’t want to take the risk and have something about their school in the media or if he were to lash out at another child. The rejection was hard because they feel like they did something wrong.

“Charlie explained to them the reason they couldn’t get in was because of him.”

Denise is currently in the process of suing Charlie for $1.2million after he allegedly threw her and the children out of their Mullholland Estates home, which he gifted them in a trust.
