Charlize Theron Jokes She Married Jimmy Kimmel's Sidekick Guillermo Rodriguez in Oscars Recap: 'Busy Week'
"I got married! Love you, honey!" the actress joked alongside a repost of a tweet claiming she and Guillermo Rodriguez had wed following the Oscars
Charlize Theron is still basking in the glow of Oscars night.
Following Sunday's star-studded ceremony, the actress made multiple posts to her Instagram grid about the festivities — including a hilarious repost of a tweet that claimed she had married Guillermo Rodriguez, the late-night sidekick of Oscars host Jimmy Kimmel.
"Oh, and I got married! Love you, honey! ❤️" wrote Theron, 48, in the caption to her post, on which Rodriguez commented, "I love you too! 😘"
The actress's response was in reference to a fun moment in the awards show when Rodriguez, 53, gave a toast to the celebrities in the audience, including his "beautiful wife, Ms. Charlize Theron."

"I love you. You're my angel," he said as Theron and the audience laughed and raised their glasses.
Among the other remarks on Theron's post was one from Kimmel, 56, who wrote, "This is wonderful" — as well as a hilarious comment from the official Don Julio Tequila account, which read, "Taking the credit for this one. #PorAmor."
Rodriguez left a single heart emoji on a follow-up post Theron made Thursday, which featured photos of her at the event with Rodriguez, Colman Domingo, Sally Field, Emma Stone, Jennifer Lawrence, Michelle Yeoh, Jessica Lange, Vin Diesel and more.
"Made some new friends, partied with old friends, celebrated incredibly talented friends, got married. Busy week for me," she quipped in the caption.
Theron walked the red carpet earlier in the evening at the Dolby Theatre, where she made a beeline for Rodriguez as soon as he called out to her, microphone in hand.
"Where's my shot?!" she asked.
Rodriguez then produced two special Barbie dolls — with heads that unscrewed to reveal hidden flasks full of a celebratory beverage.
"Oh my God, I love you. Cheers," Theron told him before they threw it back and shared a hug.
"Oh my God. She made my day," Rodriguez, clearly in awe, told the camera after the actress made her departure to finish her walk down the red carpet.
