Charlotte Trippier joins Newcastle revellers at Clubland after Crystal Palace defeat

The night after husband Kieran's side suffered what could turn out to be a rather costly defeat against Crystal Palace, Charlotte Trippier joined thousands of others at Clubland in Newcastle, as the clock was turned back with the help of some dance icons.

Since moving to Tyneside after Kieran made the switch from Atletico Madrid at the start of 2022, fashionista Charlotte has fully embraced life in her new surroundings, having nights out at the likes of Above, Aveika and Victors and becoming a massive fan of Bongo's Bingo, the event that has been an almost permanent resident at the Boiler Shop in town since 2017.

As Kieran and the rest of the NUFC were licking their wounds from being completely outplayed by Palace in a 2-0 defeat, as the Geordie faithful flocked to London to watch, Charlotte got on her dancing shoes and headed to the UtIlita Arena, along with plenty of others as the venue played host to Clubland once again.

Spawned by the hit compilations of the same name in the 00s, Clubland has become a massively popular live event and on Thursday night, stars like Basshunter and Cascada took to the stage. A veritable who's who of dance legends, the line-up for the event also included Ultrabeat, Darren Styles, Flip n Fill, Sash and Kelly Llorenna.

And, judging by the clips she posted on her Instagram story, Charlotte had a ball, as she got right in the thick of things to take in all the sets. With her camera in selfie mode, Charlotte filmed herself belting out Big Ang & Siobhan anthem It's Over Now and those around her also looked like they were having a great time.

Sharng a selection of photos from the night on her Insta grid, Charlotte wrote: "This is your reminder to get yourself and your bestie to a clubland night. What an absolute blast just like my past. 34 going on 18, you wot you wot"
