Chatham and Aylesford General Election results as seat is one of Labour's ten gains

Chatham and Aylesford has seen the Conservatives lose their seat to Labour in the 2024 General Election. The party's Tristan John Osborne came out on top with 13,689 votes.

Conservative Tracey Crouch had sat as the MP for the constituency, which also includes parts of Rochester, since 2010 but stood down prior to the election. The new Tory representative, Nathan Gamester, came second with 11,691 votes.

Falling just behind in third place was Reform UK's Thomas Mallon, having netted 9,989 votes. In Chatham and Aylesford, the Green party outperformed the Lib Dems, as Kim Winterbottom gained 2,504 votes.

Meanwhile, Nicholas Chan of the Liberal Democrats scored 2,175 votes, the workers party of Britain saw 340 votes, the Christian People's Alliance took home 316 and finally the Social Democratic Party received 141. Chatham and Aylesford is one of more than 10 seats in Kent that has been lost by the Conservatives following their prior majority, losing seats mostly to Labour, but also the Lib Dems.
