Che Adams set for Wolves transfer as Scotland star nears Southampton exit

Scotland star Che Adams is set to seal a big-money English Premier League return with Wolves.

Adams, who scored in the recent win over Gibraltar, is lined up to move to Molineux when his Southampton contract expires later this month. Wolves had an £18 million bid turned down for Adams on transfer deadline day last summer and are now set to land him on a free transfer. Other sources are reporting that Nottingham Forest were in the driving seat but that is not the case and Adams is set to move to their Midlands’ rivals.

The 27-year-old has just helped Saints to win the English Championship play-off and is currently with Steve Clarke’s squad preparing for tonight’s Euro 2024 warm-up friendly against Finland at Hampden this evening. Adams will be a key figure for Scotland and is likely to be their main striker at Euro 2024 after Lyndon Dykes was ruled out through injury.
