Chelsea 'make' Levi Colwill transfer 'decision' amid Liverpool links

Liverpool have learned Chelsea's latest stance regarding the future of Levi Colwill this summer.

Colwill opted to remain at Stamford Bridge last year and signed a new contract with the West London club that runs until 2029, amid continued speculation linking him with a move away. However, Jurgen Klopp decided to sign four midfield additions in the shape of Dominik Szoboszlai, Ryan Gravenberch, Wataru Endo and Alexis Mac Allister.

The Reds have once again been linked with a move for the England international, but football.london Chelsea are determined to keep Colwill at Stamford Bridge and have no intention of letting the defender leave the club this summer.

The report also claims that Bayern Munich as a possible club that are eyeing a move for the 21-year-old following the appointment of Vincent Kompany as their new manager.

Chelsea have a new manager at the helm, Enzo Maresca, and have already agreed to sign centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer from Fulham. Meanwhile, the Reds have Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Ibrahima Konate and Jarell Quansah as their current centre-back options.

Florian Wirtz of Bayer Leverkusen has also been linked with a move to Anfield in recent weeks. However, and as reported by the ECHO earlier this week, the Reds are not planning on making a move for in-demand Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder this summer.
