CHERRIES are said to be monitoring the situation of Real Madrid left-back Fran Garcia.

Reports in Spain claim Garcia’s future with the La Liga champions is uncertain, should Real Madrid make a move for Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies in that position.

Garcia is currently battling Ferland Mendy for the starting left-back berth at the Santiago Bernabeu.

He made 31 appearances last season, 18 as a starter, including four appearances in the Champions League, earning himself a winner’s medal. Garcia scored one goal and provided six assists in 2023-24.

Spanish outlet Okdiario claim Cherries could be a potential destination for the 24-year-old, given his links to boss Andoni Iraola.

Garcia played for Iraola at Rayo Vallecano during the entirety of his reign, before moving back to Real Madrid last summer, where he started his career.

Cherries are said to be one of many Premier League teams eyeing up Spain international Garcia, with a fee of around £12.5million mooted.
