Hosted by the Lyric Theatre, 2:22 A Ghost Story sees Cheryl play Jenny, a woman who believes her new home is haunted but her husband vehemently disagrees.
It is Cheryl's first major acting role after a small appearance in Four Kids and It and cameos in St Trinians and What to Expect When You're Expecting.
But the pop star's theatre debut has earned much applause from fans who bought tickets to see her first few shows.
One fan tweeted after seeing the show: "Okay but honestly I will not be taking ANY Cheryl slander for 2:22! Girlie smashed her debut. No stutters or stumbles, all the jokes landed, my girl delivered with oomp and punch. And I've seen A LOT of shows and performances."
Another praised her performance: "2:22 opening night. I honestly felt like I was living a fever dream watching a ghost story starring Cheryl in her West End debut. I honestly really enjoyed the show and our Chezza smashed it, and the whole cast are great. What a night!"
One audience member added: "Cheryl was brilliant in 2:22 Ghost Story last night. Well worth going to see her."
The play has continued to rely on stunt casting throughout its run with the show's second ensemble featuring Inbetweeners star James Buckley and Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor Stephanie Beatriz.
Cheryl will be starring in 2:22 A Ghost Story until 23 April.
