Chicago Fire brings back classic character for season 11 finale
Chicago Fire favourite Jesse Spencer is back in business for the season 11 finale.
Last spotted playing Captain Matt Casey in April's episode 'Danger Is All Around', TVLine reports that he'll return for the May 24 instalment, which sees Lieutenant Stella Kidd discovering "a new lead on the Homeland Security case".
Taylor Kinney's character Lieutenant Kelly Severide, who's been missing from the series since March, won't be along for the ride, though.

Previously addressing his exit as Casey, Spencer told TVLine that he was "open" to making another return sometime in the future.
"I never say never. When I left the show, I talked to [co-showrunner] Derek [Haas] and everybody and said, 'Listen, if it makes sense to bring me in for a storyline that you think would be appropriate for Casey to come in for, I'm happy to pop in for an episode'," he revealed.
"But in terms of like long-term or something, I don't think so."

These comments were also echoed when Spencer spoke to NBC Insider last month.
"The idea when I left the show was that if it was appropriate and it would work with the storyline they wanted to do, I would be open – and they would be open – to bringing Casey back," the actor said.
"The storyline does allude to Casey sort of eyeing whether he could actually move back to 51. Can he potentially, in the future, rekindle his relationship with Brett and start that fire again? We're gonna have to see.
"We'll throw it to the gods and see what they say."
Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Chicago Med air on NBC and Peacock in the US, and on Sky Witness in the UK.
