Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker is singing Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's praises in a new interview.
Butker, 28, sat down with EWTN News In Depth, where he recalled meeting the "humble and gracious" superstar for the first time at a Chiefs party. "I got to meet her after our New Year's game. We had just clinched the AFC West," Butker began, noting that he "rarely" ever goes out to parties.
"Travis showed up and Taylor was there and I got to meet her and she was just so humble and gracious," Butker explained.
Butker said he was "a little nervous" to meet the 14-time Grammy winner. "I mean, it's Taylor Swift," he said. "So maybe I am a Swiftie if I was nervous to meet her.”
The two-time Super Bowl-winning kicker added, “It was a great experience, and I can’t say enough great things about her.”

Butker also recalled the first time he heard Swift was in Kelce's suite for a Chiefs game in September. He said he thought it was "very cool" and "surreal" at first, "but then when you meet her, you realize she's just like everyone else and very down to earth," he shared.
“It was a great experience, and I can’t say enough great things about her.”
As for Butker's hope for the superstar couple's future, he said, “I hope they get married and start a family," during the interview.
Butker didn’t identify a favorite song of Swift's, but he did quote her song lyric, “Familiarity breeds contempt," from her song “Bejeweled” and said, "I'll claim that as my favorite,"
Swift and Kelce have been laying relatively low in the past weeks after a whirlwind few months that saw the couple traveling all over the world. In February, Swift immediately left Tokyo after her sold-out shows on the Eras Tour to support the NFL star in Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas.
