Chinese grandpa becomes world's oldest video game vlogger
Jan. 30 (UPI) -- An 88-year-old gamer from China earned a Guinness World Record as the oldest video game content creator on video platform Bilibili.
Yang Binglin, aka "Grandpa Yang," became a viral sensation in China when he started sharing clips of his gaming sessions on video sharing platform Bilibili.
The Sichuan province man has more than 280,000 followers on the website, and frequently posts vlogs about his experiences with games including Tomb Raider and Call of Duty.
Yang was awarded the Guinness World Record for being the oldest video game content creator on Bilibili, an accomplishment the platform celebrated on social media.
Yang encourages his young fans to make a schedule that ensures they do not over-indulge in gaming.
