Chloe Madeley was once taken to hospital after eating too much cheese at Christmas

Richard Madeley’s daughter Chloe was once taken to hospital at Christmas – for eating too much cheese.

The 34-year-old fitness enthusiast became unwell one Christmas Eve after overindulging on Camembert.

The story came out when Chloe’s brother Jack brought it up in the family’s WhatsApp group.

A screengrab of the conversation shared by The Sun showed a post from Jack saying: "CHLOE - remember when you had to go to hospital on like Christmas Eve because you - genuinely - had eaten too much cheese?

"I can't believe we don't talk about this more as a family.

"I haven't been able to stop laughing for like ten mins about it."

Their brother Tom then indicated that he didn’t know about it, posting a string of question marks.

“First I’ve heard of it,” he said.

Jack was a bit worried that it hadn’t actually happened and asked if had just dreamed it.

But Chloe confirmed that the cheese incident had taken place.

Adding some crying with laughter emojis, Jack reminded her: "You had like four wheels of camembert to yourself and went into shock.”

"Hahahaha,” replied Chloe, who is married to rugby player James Haskell.

“Yes it happened.”

Chloe and Jack, 35, are the children of Good Morning Britain star Richard and his wife Judy Finnigan.

Former TV star Judy also has twin sons – Dan and Tom – who are from her first marriage with journalist David Henshaw.
