Chocolate and coffee aficionados are in for a real treat as Quality Street and Nescafe have teamed up to launch an exciting new product.

The Nescafe Quality Street Green Triangle Mocha sachets have hit the shelves at Morrisons, and shoppers are buzzing with anticipation to try them out.

The announcement was made on the popular Facebook group New Foods UK, complete with a snapshot of the tempting chocolate coffee sachets, sending members into a frenzy. One eager fan commented: "Here's another one for the shopping list," while another excitedly posted: "I want!"

Further comments from group members included: "Omg, one of my favourites in the Quality's," and "I'm about to spend my wage on this."

There were also calls for additional Quality Street-themed products, with several people hoping for a hot chocolate variant.

This mocha flavour is part of a brand-new limited edition range by Nescafe, which not only features the Quality Street Green Triangle but also offers Aero Peppermint Mocha and Aero Golden Honeycomb Mocha.

Nescafe describes on their website: "Discover new limited edition frothy coffees inspired by bubbly Aero, and the smooth hazelnut Quality Street you love. A delicious treat for your next coffee break! ".

"Enjoy Nescafe Peppermint Aero and Quality Street Green Triangle Mochas which will join the much-loved NESCAFE Golden Honeycomb Aero Mocha as part of the expansion of our partnership with two iconic chocolate brands! ".

The news comes after Quality Street enthusiasts faced a Christmas disappointment, as the beloved Coconut Eclair was seemingly missing from their festive tubs last December.

In response to disgruntled customers, Nestle explained at the time: "Aw sorry to hear that your mix didn't contain the Coconut Eclair. Don't worry though, you didn't get any less. Sometimes, due to circumstances beyond our control, we replace one sweet with equally delicious sweets."

The brand later confirmed a "shortage" had affected supplies, clarifying: "There was a shortage a little while ago which has now been rectified. We're very sorry about that. Please DM us with the best before date and codes around it from the packaging and we can help further."
