Chris Pratt Grew a Handlebar Mustache for the Pringles Super Bowl Commercial — Watch
The actor transforms into the Pringles mascot Mr. P for the chip company's seventh consecutive Super Bowl commercial
Chris Pratt really got into his Super Bowl role this year.
The Guardians of the Galaxy actor stars in Pringles's 2024 Super Bowl commercial. In the spot, he sports a handlebar mustache to match the chip brand’s iconic mascot, Mr. P.
At the start of the commercial, Pratt is at a convenience store buying Pringles. The employee behind the check-out counter notices his "uncanny" resemblance to Mr. P.
"You look like the Pringles guy," she says and snapped a photo that ultimately goes viral in the ad.
At one point, Pratt even uses the facial recognition feature on his phone to see if the Pringles can unlocks his device. Spoiler alert: It does.
After that, he leans into the look by snagging "the role of a lifetime," playing Mr. P in a fictional feature film. The commercial closes with Pratt's mustached face on a giant billboard.
The convenience store worker and the actor look up at it as they munch on Pringles. "Do I get a cut?" she teases.
Last month, Pringles teased the ad on Instagram with a split photo featuring the Pringles man from the can next to a mystery celebrity with a handlebar mustache. "Once you see it... you can't unsee it," the text on the pic read.
In the caption, the company added, "The big game’s almost here, so we’re upping our ‘stache game. Who do you think it belongs to?"

The number one guess in the comments section was Travis Kelce. The Kansas City tight end is known for having a strong 'stache game, and he also had a huge year in 2023 thanks to both his performance on the football field and his high-profile relationship with Taylor Swift.
Late last month, Pringles put fans’ guessing to a rest and announced Pratt as their Super Bowl commercial star.

His wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, even shared some behind-the-scenes information on Instagram, revealing to fans that she had been “putting up” with his “intense mustache” for several months.
“It’s something I’ve come to know all too well and was present at far too many milestone moments😅,” she joked.
