Christina Hall Says Son Brayden ‘Loves’ Going to Work with Her and Looking at Real Estate Listings (Exclusive)

The HGTV star chatted with PEOPLE about raising her son Brayden, whom she shares with ex Tarek El Moussa

Christina Hall's son is following in her footsteps!

The HGTV star, 40, chatted with PEOPLE about mom life ahead of the release of the new season of Christina on the Coast. Asked if any of her kids — Taylor, 13, Braydon, 8,  or Hudson, 4 — have expressed an interest in real estate or interior design, the mom of three tells PEOPLE, "Brayden is very into it."

"At night before bed, he likes looking at real estate listings on realtor.com," she shares. "He likes looking at different houses and assessing them, and he loves going to work with me. He loves filming. That's kind of how Taylor was at this age too."

The television personality added that Brayden has become critical of houses and their prices. "He always judges the houses. It's funny," she says before quoting him: "That's way overpriced, Mom."

Hall shares daughter Taylor and son Braydon with ex Tarek El Moussa, as well as son Hudson with ex Ant Anstead. The HGTV star is now married to realtor Joshua Hall.

When it comes to Hall's daughter Taylor's real estate interests, she told PEOPLE, "I feel like she was more into that prior to being a teenager."

"Now, she's just more into friends and summer, so they want to go to the beach and do their thing," she continued. "And I understand and I respect that, but I'm sure when she's older, if she is interested in buying real estate, that that's something that she would definitely hop back into."

Hall also opened up about what it's been like raising her oldest, saying, "With Taylor, just having a teenager is wild."

"She's just grown up so much from 12 to 13, and I just love spending time with her," the proud mom added. "I love our conversations. We're closer than ever... I just love being her mom."
