Christine McGuinness defends herself over 'choosing her babies' and says 'every time'

Christine McGuinness has defended herself and said "I'd choose my babies every time" as she left the UK for half-term. The ITV The Games star has spoken out on Instagram, as she continues to enjoy a week-long break away from the UK.

Posting a snap of herself in a bikini, mum-of-three Christine wrote: "“Leaf me here”. I read a quote recently that said ‘If we’re lucky, we get 16-18 summers with our children’ after that they’re adults, doing their own thing, away with friends, college, or maybe not wanting to chill with mummy no more.

"I think (and hope) I’ll be having many more with mine, I still enjoy a holiday with my mum... but just if they do become more independent when they’re older.. I’m making the most of every minute, I’d choose my babies every time."

BBC Pilgrimage star Christine is the proud mum of three children and regularly shares updates from her family life on Instagram. The 36-year-old shares Felicity, Leo and Penelope with Paddy McGuinness, the former ITV Take Me Out star.

The former couple divorced in 2022 but have remained on positive terms in a co-parenting arrangement. Christine has taken to social media to wish fellow mums and dad well over the half term. She shared snaps of the sky from the plane and said: "I hope you all had a wonderful bank holiday.

"And to the mummy's, daddy's, carers. ... I hope your half term is fun, calm and filled with making memories." Christine shared a snap of a palm tree from her sunny destination and said: "I've never flown into a sunset before. It was dreamy. I love that 'catching flights' is just a thing we do now. Proud."
