Christine McGuinness speaks out on love life after Paddy starts to date again

Christine McGuinness has given a three-word update on her love life after dating rumours - after Paddy admitted going on dates while still cohabiting together. The BBC Pilgrimage star couple announced their shock split in 2022 after eleven years of marriage.

The former Top Gear host told The Mirror newspaper: "I tried a couple of dates last year – After twelve months of adjusting to life on my own I felt I should give it a try rather than really wanting to. For now I’m happy being single.”

He added: “For now, we’re happy with how things are, living together and helping each other balance work and kids.” Speaking about his estranged wife moving on, Paddy said: "If Christine met someone else, I’d be supportive.”

He added: “If someone didn’t know our situation and came to our house and they spent the day with us, they would not have a clue (we were not together)." It comes after Christine issued an update on her love life following rumours of her dating Duncan James.

The 36-year-old model separated from her husband Paddy, 50, in 2022 and speculation has been rife ever since, with her latest love interest being reported as the Blue singer. Christine decided to take to Instagram to let her 742,000 followers know what is actually going on in three simple words.

Sharing a post from Duncan, showing a newspaper article of them together and attaching a poll asking: "Do you think Christine is my secret girlfriend?", Christine added: "My celibacy continues". Christine previously spoke out and responded: "When are people going to accept that men and women can be friends."

She later added: "Loads of you are saying 'oh I'm so happy for you' that I was on a date. It was my mate. Duncan's my friend. Duncan's got a gorgeous partner. I love them both. But yeah, I was only taking the p*** when I said 'I'm on a date.' I don't like dates. Not doing dates. Absolutely not."
