Christmas Just Got Even More Exciting With The Mince Pie And Custard Pasty

Everyone knows that Christmas is all about the vast amounts of naughty food that you can eat guilt-free - and there’s a serious new contender for the best of the lot.

A Cornwall bakery has decided that mince pies with custard on top os not going to cut it this year, so they’ve combined the two.

And the result is the mince pie and custard pasty, that is set to cause a mass exodus to the south west of the UK this winter.

Warrens Bakery are the geniuses behind the creation, which ignores the traditional savoury route for pasties.

Describing the festive treat, baker Jason Jobling said: “We have made the pasty using rough puff pastry, filled it with specially selected mincemeat and a vanilla custard and have crimped it in the same way we would a savoury pasty.”

That thing you are feeling right now is your mouth salivating.

Warrens Bakery have stores across Cornwall, Devon and Somerset - so any excuses you can find to visit relatives down south should be used right now.
