Christopher Meloni's Daughter Sophia Graduates from College — and Receives Hugs from His “SVU” Costars
The college grad was supported by the actor's 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit' costars, Mariska Hargitay and Isabel Gillies
Christopher Meloni's daughter is officially a graduate!
On Monday, June 10, the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit alum, 63, shared a series of photos on his Instagram as he celebrated his daughter Sophia's college graduation.
In the sweet photos, Meloni reunited with the spinoff's original stars, Mariska Hargitay, 60, and Isabel Gillies, 54, who were both there to support his 23-year-old daughter.
In another picture, Sophia and Hargitay smiled together on an outdoor balcony in New York City, with Meloni's daughter cupping Hargitay's face in her hands in one shot. Behind them stood SVU's Peter Scanavino.

Meloni also shared a photo of himself posing with the college grad and his wife, Sherman Williams. Sophia was in the center as she was flanked by her two proud parents, who smiled together.
"Graduates. Hugs #celebration #Allthebeautifulwomeninmylife @isabelgillies @therealmariskahargitay @sophiaemeloni," Meloni captioned his post.
In addition to Sophia, the Law & Order: Organized Crime star shares son Dante, 20, with Williams.
In March, Meloni celebrated his daughter's 23rd birthday as he shared a throwback-filled Instagram post to commemorate the milestone.
The actor kicked off the post with photos of a toddler-aged Sophia enjoying a banana at the table and another of her rocking a floppy sun hat at the beach around the same age. He also included some more recent shots of Sophia, captioning the carousel, “Bananas, beaches, love, creativity.”
“So happy you came to us @sophiaemeloni,” he wrote. “So happy you let me glom on to ur B Day.”
“Happy 23,” he added.

Speaking to PEOPLE about his children in 2022, the actor said, "I always knew I wanted kids, as did my wife."
“My mother always used to say to me, 'I've learned so much from you kids,' and I didn't get it. Now I get it,” he said at the time.
He also gave a glimpse into his kids’ personalities and biggest differences.
"One is more of an old soul. I never used that term until they came out of the womb and I looked in their eyes. I was like, 'Holy cow, look at you. You're here to teach me,' " the actor said. "As well as the other one, who's a young soul. It's ever-evolving and a complete fulfillment of my life."
