Chuckle Brother Paul Elliott Is Caught Speeding

Chuckle Brother Paul Elliott has been caught speeding.

Paul reportedly chose to attend a speed awareness course after the incident, rather than picking up a fine and three points on his driving licence.

The Chuckle Brother told The Mirror that he was doing 48mph in a 40mph zone, explaining: “I’m always a careful driver - I’ve never been done before in 50 years of driving.

“I was going shopping with my wife and coming into Doncaster on the Great North Road which is 50mph.

“I was only doing 48mph going past a lorry, then realised it had changed to 40mph. I never saw it.”

The Mirror also reports that Paul made a joke when asked how to reduce fuel consumption during the course, with the Chuckle Brother joking: “I said to tell the wife to get out.”

Paul praised the speed awareness course, which had been organised on behalf of South Yorkshire Police.

The Chuckle Brothers are currently starring in the Peter Pan pantomime in Wolverhampton.
