Clacks nail technician scoops more award success after rapid rise

A Clackmannanshire nail technician is celebrating yet another top award - after opening her business just four years ago.

Elle Adams opened her business ‘Sparkle by Elle’ following lockdown and has already scooped four gongs for her hard work.

The latest of these came at The Scottish Nails, Brows and Lashes Awards on June 9, where Sparkle by Elle picked up the crown for ‘Nail Bar of the Year’.

Following the award win, Elle said: “I am so thankful to have won this award, this is now my fourth award, I only started the business post-lockdown in 2020, so to have got this far, and to be recognised for my hard work means the world.

“I wouldn’t have got this far without the support of the clients who choose to use my services.

“The celebration with my clients will be with a little prosecco night to celebrate and thank them for their support along the way. Without them none of this would be possible.

I took my client and friend Victoria with me to the awards, she made it so special with little touches.

“We had an amazing night from start to finish and it was such a good night I actually forgot I was up for an award, until they called my name!”

A spokesperson for the Scottish NBL Awards said: “We are delighted to bring these awards back to Scotland for another year.

“These awards are an excellent opportunity to showcase those who have shown great commitment, professionalism, creativity and care for the client.

“These finalists are the ones that have successfully established their presence in this competitive industry with their dedication to be the best.

“We understand that there are some amazing specialists out there, who often don’t get the recognition they deserve.

“We want to congratulate all of our winners and highly commended recipients on their accomplishments.”
