Clinton to offer ‘warning to all American voters’ in new book

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is set to offer a “warning to all American voters” in an upcoming book, according to a Tuesday press release.

“For the first time, she shares the story of her operation to evacuate Afghan women to safety in the harrowing final days of America’s longest war,” reads the press release from Simon & Schuster announcing the book, “Something Lost, Something Gained: Reflections on Life, Love, and Liberty.”

“But we also meet the brave women dissidents defying dictators around the world, gain new personal insights about her old adversary Vladimir Putin, and learn the best ways that worried parents can protect kids from toxic technology. We also hear her fervent and persuasive warning to all American voters,” the release continues.

Clinton’s book is set to be published Sept. 17, according to the release. It is described as “a testament to the idea that the personal is political, and the political is personal, providing a blueprint for what each of us can do to make our lives better.”

Clinton’s husband, former President Clinton, also has a forthcoming book in the fall, on his “23-plus years since leaving the White House,” according to a statement from the former president.

“I knew as I entered this new chapter of my life that I’d keep score the way I always have: Are people better off when you quit than when you started? Do our children have a brighter future? Are we coming together instead of falling apart?” he said in the statement.
