Clouds of Fog Hover Over Lake Travis in Austin

Clouds of fog were spotted over a lake in Austin, Texas, as warmer weather hit the area on Thursday, March 28, footage shows.

Footage by X user Leila Bela shows a mix of white and gray mist rolling over Lake Travis in Austin on Thursday morning. “It’s wild,” said Bela. “One side you have really dark gray fog, the other side you have really white fog, and some of it was tunneling into the sky.”

According to the National Weather Service, lake fog forms when warm, moist air flows over relatively colder waters.
