Fire crews made their way to Kilbowie Primary School on West Thomson Street after they received reports of the inferno at around 6.30pm.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that one appliance was in attendance to extinguish the flames. Pictures shared with Glasgow Live show a large fire tearing through a blue hut in the middle of the school's playground.
