Cobra Kai’s Final Season Trailer Teases Miyagi’s Buried Secrets and More Rivalries Than Ever — Watch

Cobra Kai’s Sekei Taikei tournament is approaching which means the students of Miyagi-Do/Eagle Fang must train harder than ever if they want to be the best in the world. But despite the dojos now being on the same side, there’s still plenty of drama to be had as the pressure heats up and new (and old) foes enter the competition.

As previously reported, the final season will feature five bonus episodes and will be split into three parts: Part 1 will release on Netflix Thursday, July 18; Part 2 will follow on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 28; and the “finale event” will drop sometime next year.

In the newly released trailer for Part 1 (watch it embedded above), we see the dojo hard at work training for the tournament, but with that comes rekindled rivalries between Sam and Tory, and Miguel and Robby. Daniel and Johnny also appear to be at odds as they try to balance both styles of teaching ahead of what will likely be the dojo’s biggest fight ever. But around the corner, Kreese looms with a fresh batch of baddies who look more nefarious than ever.

If all of that wasn’t enough, Daniel, Chozen and Amanda unearth a large box full of secrets from Miyagi’s past. “Miyagi-san buried secrets for a reason,” Chozen says in the clip. “If we open, anything is possible.”
